Wow! How much fun can you have reading and interacting with this story! Babel, the King is a unique story about a grumpy cat that leads a boring life but wants to be king of his own castle with royal subjects. Does he build his own castle or does someone do it for him? Is he bossy or a nice king? How exactly was his castle built? These are only a few questions you will be able to find out and answer if you read this fun animated storybook!

There are two options to read the book: read to me and I can read myself. Plus, as you are reading you can make the story come to life by tilting your device, blowing into the microphone to create a fun surprise, and push and pull objects as well! Each page is packed full of interactive aspects to fully engage and grab ahold of your child’s attention! Another wonderful addition to the storybook is the hints feature. As you turn the page you are given the option to have the help layer on or off to customize your own experience with Babel. If you leave it on it will show and tell you where to push, pull, blow, tap etc. on that specific spot to see what happens! But if you turn it off you can make that into another adventure by trying to find the interactive pieces on each page! What a fun and unique feature! Every child will love these animations and will make them feel like they are in the story with Babel!

My kids loved the experience of this story! It was so fun to watch them interact with the story and really get involved. They really loved tapping, pushing, pulling, blowing and tilting the device. Their favorite part was probably blowing into the microphone. What a fun way to get two kids to work together to watch what happens! I really enjoyed this story’s many options of animations and interactions. You never knew what you were going to have to do until you go to that page! I also appreciated that this unique story leads to a discussion about the importance of being nice and treating others how you want to be treated. The illustrations, animations, sounds, and narration were great! You don’t want to miss this fun story; you will surely feel like you right alongside Babel and his royal subjects like a 3D movie experience!!

Babel, the King is a wonderful storybook for young children to enjoy about a grumpy cat and have fun interacting with him! This was a fun experience and I would recommend you check it out!!
