DropOffTracker is a very useful utility app for parents to manage their children’s drop of appointments smoothly and efficiently. The app is focused solely on two functions – the setting up and reminding of created appointments, and communicating with the user’s spouse/partner/parent, etc. If you want a very specialized app which does its functions very well, then the DO-Tracker is for you.

DropOff Tracker or “DO-Tracker” is a utility app for parents to manage drop off appointments for their children’s activities like day care, swimming lessons, etc. to make sure that no child is forgotten or left behind. The app lets parents set up multiple appointments easily with it’s simple and intuitive interface. The app then sends the user a reminder at the time of the appointment and allows him/her to send a message to the spouse/partner/parent, etc. a text message to confirm or inform. The app allows you to create a template of the message so you need not take the time to create the message repeatedly or saves you the trouble of texting while driving. You just need the message template and input the recipient’s contact number and the app will make sure that the message will not get sent to any of your other contacts. It is important to note though that the app will only send text messages through the standard interface and will never send any messages without your explicit approval. There are no in-app charges but standard text message rates will apply.

The app’s interface is nothing that we have not seen before so users will definitely find it very easy to use and intuitive. It allows for multiple children and, for those regular activities, appointments can be set to recur. Another good attribute of the app is that it uses System Notificaitons which means that you will receive alerts even when the app is not running. A unique characteristic of this app is that it puts importance on communication with the user’s spouse/partner/parent, etc. which prevents misunderstanding and allows them to adjust to changes more efficiently. The app is also FREE and doesn’t have any in-app purchases!
