App Review: Lazy Bird - Teaches kids A Lesson About Always Doing The Right Thing!

Lazy Bird is a wonderful storybook for young children. Frank is a very lazy bird in his flock who doesn’t want to do anything for himself; he wants his friends to do everything for him. As Frank and his flock adventure on a journey to Hawaii, do you think that Frank is going to help pack and get ready for the flight? What is he going to do once they are in Hawaii? Will Frank ever learn his lesson of not being lazy? These are just a few questions you will be able to answer once you read Frank’s story! There are three options to read the book: read to me, read it myself and record the voice. Recording your own voice was a nice surprise! Now your kids can have anyone read this funny story to them in their own voice.

Wow! This storybook is wonderful and was a great way to teach kids about doing the right thing and how important it is to treat others like you would want to be treated. My kids loved the cute voices of the characters but also enjoyed having other family members read the story too! I really enjoyed the illustrations, narrations, and I appreciated the lesson behind the story. It made for great discussions at home.

Suggested Enhancement

The only thing I would like to see more of would be more interactions with each page. Right now you just read through the book and there is nothing to tap or move. That is fine to have a story app like this, but my kids kept asking me when is there going to be anything to tap, touch or see something move.
