Magical Music Box is an interactive app that simulates the classic music boxes for children in the present. Music boxes have been around since the 19th century and have been enjoyed by numerous people both young and old. With this app, the developers have made a digital simulation that parents and children can enjoy.

The app presents animated artwork of mini worlds with a crank. Users can make a circular motion to crank the music box which animates the artwork and plays music. The animation and song follows how fast or slow you crank the music box. There are 6 mini worlds (2 in the lite version) and 16 songs (6 in the lite version) to choose from!

There are different ways to enjoy this app. You can choose to either crank the music box to play the animation and music but you can also let it play on its own so you can relax or let your children sleep with the music. You can also choose to play specific songs with your favourite mini worlds. There are also some background information about the song being played which gives this app some educational value.

Magical Music Box is a nice app that does its function really well. I really like the art style and the creativity that went into designing and animating the mini worlds. The developers also chose a nice range of songs and converted them into music box sounding songs. Songs range from classical pieces to children’s songs, to some national anthems. The visuals are crisp and colourful while the audio is clear and pristine. The controls are laid out well and are really intuitive to use.
