Spider-Man AR Book is a pretty amazing storybook to experience turning yourself into Spiderman! Who wouldn’t want to put their own face into story to look the part!?! Everyone will enjoy this storybook and love the experience of being Spiderman like you have never done before!!

Spider-Man AR Book is an amazing interactive storybook that uses augmented reality. This means you get to be a part of the story yourself!! This version of the story of how Peter Parker becomes Spiderman is based on the current movie that just came out. As you are reading the book you have several options to interact with the story! You can read through the story and then play the games after you are done or you can play them right along with the story as you are reading. There are five mini-games to play in addition to making yourself your own Oscorp badge!

The games include: Spidey Mask, Glasses, Crawling Spiders, Jar of Spiders, and Spidey-Sense. For each game you use your own picture! Can you believe that you can step into this app and actually have spiders crawling on your face, or put Spiderman’s mask on, or even experience the Spidey-Sense that Spiderman goes through!

Another wonderful feature is that you can save your pictures and email them! Once you have turned into Peter Parker with his glasses or Spiderman’s mask or have spiders on your face, don’t forget to take a picture! You will want to show them to your friends and family!

My kids and I really enjoyed this storybook experience with the augmented reality! This concept is pretty cool and really was a hit with my kids! Ok, it was a hit even with me and my husband. It was a fun family experience turning into Peter Parker or Spiderman and trying to get spiders off of our faces!

Right away you can choose the way you want to read the story and how you want to interact with the story. So, at first we read through the story and played the games right along, but as my kids kept coming back to this app they would just want to play the games! The music, sound effects and narration are great and it was fun to see some of the actual scenes from the movie integrated into the story. We have not seen the movie yet, so it was nice to see my kids get excited even more to see the movie!
