Wee Pray – Pray With Me is an app for recording prayers that kids can just listen to when their parents cannot be there with them during prayer time (Morning, Meal Time, Special Prayers, Bedtimes).

But at its core, Wee Pray – Pray With Me is an app that lets you record messages for your kids. These messages can be from family members (like grandparents) or friends. It’s a great way to make kids feel that you are there for them (and that you’re trying to be there) for the times you can’t be with them.

This app is great for parents who work overseas. Or grandparents who live far from their grandchildren. Although this app is mostly meant for kids to listen to these messages, I’m sure parents and grandparents can’t wait to listen to their kids’ or grandkids’ messages to them. I can just imagine that most grandparents will be so proud of the messages they got from the kids and they can’t wait to show it off to their friends!

Setup
It’s easy to setup. You can record a prayer/message then add a picture (by taking a picture or using the ones in your Photo Library) to associate the message with the speaker.

The photos and customized names help kids easily choose whose prayer/message they want to hear.

Email
There is also an email function that lets you send out the photos and messages to other Wee Pray – Pray With Me users. Grandparents can record messages and send their picture via email and it can be played to their grandchildren easily. When you are the recipient of these messages, you can easily store them into your Wee Pray – Pray With Me app. The message that was sent over can also be played in iTunes so you can also save it on your computer.

I liked that it’s easy to setup for parents. It’s also easy for the kids to use on their own by tapping on the photos of the person they want to “pray with them”. Or listen to the recorded messages sent to them. By receiving these love messages from friends and other family members who are far away and being able to play them immediately when they want to, kids will always feel safe and be reassured that they are loved!

If you’re a parent or grandparent, you would immediately want the kids to record a message for you! It’s something you can listen to that will help melt away your stress. Just imagine a simple “I love you Mommy!” in a super cute voice that you can easily listen to with a few taps of your fingers. Powerful stuff!

I also like that parents need to tap on Setup and Email twice before they can access it to prevent little kids from accidentally overwriting or deleting the messages. There’s also some detailed instructions to guide parents to setting it up.

Suggested Enhancement

Tapping on the reset button will clear the recorded messages and photo of a selected person. It’s a great feature to remove all recordings at once but it would be better if there is an additional confirmation so as not to accidentally delete the messages.

Overall

Wee Pray – Pray With Me is an app that can help kids feel safe and loved through recorded messages from family and friends who are not beside them at the moment. And parents can also use this to listen to their kid’s cute “I love You” on demand!
